Mircoorganisms are present almost everywhere. They are key players for many environmental processes. We offer different solutions to analyze microbial communities from environmental samples, e.g. soil, sediment or water.
Depending on your question, different technologies can be applied:
Basic
The Basic analysis detects organisms of one domain of live, i.e. prokaryotes or eukaryotes. It delivers the abundance of the detected organisms and standard analysis of organism groups and comparisons between the samples.
Advanced
The Advanced analysis includes the detection of organisms from any domain. In addition, it provides gene functions of the whole microbial community. The analysis of the Advanced detections methods are more complex and there might be more restictions to the amount of DNA that is need.
Custom
Different technologies and solutions can be combined to provide the optimal service for you. You might be interested in special groups of organisms or gene functions to analyze. Get in touch to discuss the options.

Basic
The Basic package detects organisms from one domain of live, i.e. prokaryotes or eukaryotes. This service offers a broad overview into your samples microorganisms at low costs and includes DNA extraction from your samples, amplicon sequencing and bioinformatics.
This package is for you if you want a general overview of the organisms in your sample or if you want to compare different samples on the level of organisms.

Advanced
The Advanced package detects organisms from any domain of live. This service offer an overview of the present organisms and will also detect gene functions. In addition, novel unknown genomes can be reconstructed. It includes DNA extraction from your samples, metagenomic sequencing and bioinformatics.
This package is for you if you know already what you roughly expect. You are interested in a detailed picture of organisms and want to know which genes are present. This package usually delivers a large amount of data that is analyzed by us.
